KOHLER LuxStone sells curated shower systems to homeowners. Kohler was already working with TriMark for another product (walk-in bath) when they launched this new direct-to-consumer product in 2017. They repositioned their brand as a full shower remodeling service that offers a design consultation, an exclusive collection of shower features (including the wall material, LuxStone) and a professional one-day installation.
In 2019, TriMark helped them position their brand amongst competitors and help raise brand awareness for the full shower experience while navigating the challenge of consumers not understanding their brand name, LuxStone.
I personally designed their organic site and landing page experience which was built for performance and to drive qualified shower leads.
This collection of work showcases some of our stand out ad campaigns and different storytelling over the years to showcase the immersive shower experience.
Travel Inspiration Escapism
While Kohler had beautiful photography to market their full shower system, to stand out in social feeds, we wanted to blend the feeling of being on vacation with the beautiful design of the shower walls. We knew that many of the target audience was interested in traveling and wanted to tell the story of bringing home your travels.
We utilized carousel ads to tell this story, mimicked Pinterest feeds for social and even used different video techniques. I worked closely with an associate creative director to tell these stories and execute the design.
Later, I also influenced design refreshes and continued this theme over the years beyond the social channels into email design and blog topics.
Finish Story
The LuxStone collection received matte black finish options around Black Friday in 2020, so I designed an email series and social ad around the matte black finish options.

With limited assets (no real photography of the matte black finishes in the specific shower product, I made a teaser to promote the offerings on social)
Shower ASMR
In order to help homeowners envision and experience their space for LuxStone, we wanted to play into the trend of ASMR. I stitched together video footage from Kohler and utilized sound design for this social ad.
Pinterest Advertising
These ads were all more of a brand awareness push to connect with their audience’s love of design and style, convenience and trust building.
